The Parrish Fire District is a proud Independent Special District located in the vibrant northern part of Manatee County. Serving over 25,000 residents in a rapidly growing area, the district is committed to providing exceptional fire protection with two well-equipped fire stations, a dedicated team of staff, and professional career firefighters.
As Parrish continues to experience exciting growth, we embrace the opportunity to strengthen and expand the valuable community partnerships we've built. We are excited about the future and look forward to deepening our connections within the community. Established on April 9, 1982, by the Florida Legislature and approved by the Governor, the Parrish Fire District has been honored to serve 97 square miles of unincorporated Manatee County with top-tier fire protection, prevention, and rescue services.
The area incorporated in the fire district are:
- Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34,35 and 36 all lying in Township 33 South, Range 19 East;
- and Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, all lying in Township 34 South, Range 19 East; and all of Sections 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18, lying north of Manatee River, all lying in Township 34 South, Range 19 East, and Sections 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, and 34, all lying in Township 33 South;
- Range 20 East, and Sections 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 28, all lying in Township 34 South, Range 20 East;
- and all of Sections 29, 30, 32, and 33, lying North of Manatee River, all lying in Township 34 South, Range 20 East.

The district operates as an Independent Special District under special law 2004-400, and general laws Chapter 189 and 191. The fiscal year for the fire district is October 1-September 30.
